Our Team

Our philosophy is that any help, support and care should be given in the spirit of how we would want to be treated should we ever be faced with the same situation.

Our Care Practitioners are carefully selected for the right personality, values and desire to learn. The Care Practitioner team are the eyes and the ears of the service, they are the main interface with our clients, it is a very responsible job so great communication and management support is crucial to us.

All Care Practitioners hold the Care Certificate as a minimum and are encouraged to develop their skills and knowledge with many of them holding Health and Social Care Level 3. All Carers have the relevant initial training and are supported to grow and develop their knowledge as they work as part of the Pink Team.

MEET THE TEAM

As a child I liked to go to jumble sales and "rescue" teddies and dolls. I still very much like to be able to use my expertise to help others in any way. Out of business hours I'm just as likely to be found in the discounted plant section at a nursery taking home plants that need nurturing. I love living in Suffolk and having the open spaces around me.

Sarah Seaman RGN

Director & Registered Manager

Systems, processes and attention to detail leading to a quality service are my passions. After watching my step father deal with his illness and increasing frailty I became aware of the need for a care service which helped people to live safely in their own home. Home becomes such an importance space. Outside work I like to spend time with family and friends, being out in the countryside, playing netball and creating my own home space. I also love football and have been an Arsenal season ticket holder for many years now

After moving to Suffolk I got a job working for the Government where I stayed for 25 years. I then felt like i needed a change. I joined Sarah's Carers 2019 and I really enjoyed the interactions I had with our clients. I have since moved into the office and now work as an Administrator supporting our clients in a different way. In my spare time I like to go out walking with my Husband and Lulu, I also enjoy reading and drawing.

MEET THE SOME OF THE CARERS

My name is Megan, I have always lived in Suffolk but found a love for traveling. In the past 5 years I have made it my mission to see the world. I have seen 14 different countries and experienced different cultures. I love to be adventurous but equally enjoy long walks and film night in with friends. I studied Film and TV and in 2017 started my part time job in care. I fell in love with care work, met some amazing people with incredible stories.I later joined the Pink Team in 2020 as a Care Practitioner , I started on call, which sparked my passion in supporting carers as well as clients.

Megan Arnold

Care Practitioner

From the age of 16 I realised I wanted to make a difference to care of the elderly. I am following in my Nana's footsteps. She was a Care Home Manager for years. So for the last 10 years I have worked nights in a care home whilst raising my children and completing my Health and Social Care Diplomas in level 2, 3 and 4.

I am passionate to make a change in Health Care, ensuring carers feel valued and are recognised for the hard work and passion they have for their roles. I want to support clients to remain in their own homes and spread awareness that care homes aren't the only option. When I am not at work, I am trying to find new challenges for myself. I have recently been facing my fear of heights by completing indoor climbing walls as well as the ziplines and forest coaster in Wales.

Hello, I'm Cara-Lee. My family moved to the UK from South Africa when I was young so I was raised and have always lived in the Suffolk area. Having grown up amidst diverse cultures, I developed a passion for travel and experiencing different cultures and cuisines. After school I worked in retail and thrived on the social aspect of it. I loved interacting with people. It was then that I met a colleague who was a retired nurse and she said I would be perfect for a healthcare career. I always knew I wanted to help people and be able to make a difference, even if this just meant making a difference to their day. I Joined the NHS 111 service which ultimately led me to care driven by a deep sense of empathy and a desire to make a positive impact on others' lives.

Values In Action

Our clients are very important to us and we get to know them and their families very well. Many decisions around care are not easy, but we try to help wherever we can. We realise that when families live far away, the worry about a loved one grows, so (providing we have consent) we are always happy to report back.
