The first step in our care service is the Care Assessment

It’s here that we’ll determine what’s needed and the frequency and length of the visits. Our services cover many, many things, but here’s an idea of the type of help we offer:

• Psychological support with Dementia
• Support with medication, including liaising with other medical professionals (with permission)
• Support with mobility
• Meal preparation
• Ensuring nutrition and fluid intake needs are met
• Arranging and taking to appointments, such as Doctors, Dentist, Chiropodist and hairdressers
• General housekeeping
• Companionship
• Assistance on trips outside the home
• Help with pets, such as feeding and arranging vet appointments
• We also offer support to end of life clients

You may need visits once or twice a week, or three times per day. The length and frequency of your visits is determined by what you need, and may change with time. It’s this flexibility and attention to individual needs that ensures that with Sarah’s Carers, staying at home is always an option.
