Your main function will be to provide care and support to people in their own homes in accordance with their own care plan. This can vary from personal care, support with cleaning to social activities.

Day to day work

We provide visits from 30 minutes to longer sits for clients who may have problems such as dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s or frailty, all who need our help to live well in their own home.

We allow you time to get from one client to another and visit times are fixed so the client knows when you will be arriving.

We provide a range of support from personal care to companionship, including end of life care and complex needs. The team are well aware that they touch the lives of people at their most vulnerable and we are proud of what the team achieves on a daily basis.

Training and development opportunities

There is a lot to learn about care and health, we are happy to discuss and plan for individual members of the team to gain skills and knowledge in a way that suits them. Continual Professional Development is discussed at supervision, during appraisals or at any point an idea develops. Fostering leadership is at the core of a new program which identifies talent in our care team. For those who meet the requirements, there may be opportunities for them to develop teams of their own.
